little things he do

Sometimes we overlooked the little things. Sometimes we push those simple smiles away. Forget what truly bond us together. That comfort. The ‘you and me’ in ‘us’, forgot the ‘us’ in ‘me’. We turn into selfish beast. But hey, they are always there…the routine in the way he look into our eyes, a kiss in his forehand before going out, a cup of tea in the morning to a “hello” when we got home. Then when you finally see that, you wonder where have you been all along? The love you seek were never gone. Then you find yourself in a place you’d call home.

That’s how i feel when i look at him. Sometimes it wasn’t enough, and we keep asking for more. But when he’s away, i see how much he has given me. And i found just perfect song for him. This one is from Pomplamoose, a band of  loving couple i discover recently. They are good. Especially Natalie, she’s cute yet bear solid voice  ♥

I love what she says in the song, Papadino did all those things for me too…and he really didn’t have to 😉

Lyrics:

sorting all the lights and darks, making sure our love won’t lose that spark.
you really didn’t have to.
funny pictures that you take, dinner out instead of shake and bake.
you really didn’t have to.

movies and magazines, filling our heads with dreams.
love is the little things. love changes everything.

picking me up after work, putting up with all my silly quirks.
you really didn’t have to.
saying that my cooking is great, while you try to hide a stomach ache.
you really didn’t have to.

movies and magazines, filling our heads with dreams.
love is the little things. love changes everything.

(..and this is the cute part..)

movies and magazines, filling our heads with dreams.
love is the little things. like diamonds…

jack (spoken):
woah, woah, woah…like what?

nataly dawn (spoken):
like…diamonds.

jack (spoken):
diamonds aren’t little things.

nataly dawn (spoken):
little diamonds are little things…

(go natalie! :p)
